How to Share Files Publicly with Foyer

Most businesses use Foyer for secure file sharing where you and your clients login to safely exchange files.

However, for files that can be openly shared, sometimes it's more convenient to share files publicly.

For that purpose, Foyer has SafeLinks. SafeLinks are shareable links that you can create for any file that don't require anyone to login to view or download.

You can create a SafeLink for any file within any Space in Foyer.

To get started, first sign in to Foyer, and navigate to any Space. If you haven't already, upload a file you'd like to share with a SafeLink.

Below you'll see what the Space page looks like:

Click the 3 dots on any file and then find the "Share" option. It will look like this:

After clicking "Share" you'll see a dialog appear. Click "Share File" and you will be given your SafeLink.

All you have to do now is copy that link, and share it any way you'd like (could be email, iMessage, WhatsApp, etc..).

When you visit the link you'll see a page like this where the file can be downloaded without logging in:
